At the completion of two months....

Hello again… well it seems I have been put in my place (thanks Sam J)… we are having a bitterly cold week this week in Charlbury with even some snow and freezing rain! Seems hard to believe after last week but here it is… so Sam if you still want me to send this weather to you, I can but I don’t think you will like it J

Things are going well here… we have started another course and already things are just piling up that need my attention. We have a photography exhibit this week on landscapes of the 18th century and then next week we start into landscape poetry, the class. I think it will be really interesting. The professor is really knowledgeable and as long as I can get everything done… that will be good J

A few things have been going on here. Yesterday I went to see the gardens of Stourhead, a famous English garden that Mrs. Chiang talks about in bio 225, which was just gordious! I’m sure it looks even better in the summer but it was just wonderful with lots of symbolism and just really really cool! Then we went to Stonehenge!!!! That was really cool… although it is a bunch of rocks in the middle of a field in the middle of nowhere… it is still really interesting and neat to see. I will try to post pictures soon.

There’s been some sad things happening too. Madeline, the lady who runs our program from the UK, had her mother pass away on Saturday. In addition to that, one of the girls had two guys from her youth group in a car accident. It wasn’t expected that they would survive. So its been a little bit of a trying weekend.

All in all, things are going well though. I am keeping busy and just really enjoying seeing new places around Charlbury and England in general. Miss you all and see you in a bit.

Jules, sorry to hear about the sad stuff going on. Its hard to hear about that and still keep a skip in your step but knowing your faith, you'll let God handle it and find peace. Can I say a little nananabooboo about the weather? You can keep it too! Ours is about to get good!!! I'm so excited to hear about your family coming over...the ultimate homeschool feild trip for Ruben! If you can, please pray for a group of kids I'm teaching...they're learning about Jesus and taking a big faith step really soon. It'll be cool for me to tell them I have a friend all the way across the pond who is praying for them. Love and misses! Sam
