Just a note to let you all know that my parents arrived safe in Charlbury this morning! It's been great having them around but I have to make sure I finish my work... so I gtg

We're standing in the mouth of a volcano in front of a sulphur lake. It was breathtaking!
A group of school children we were able to tell Bible stories to and play with. They were lovely!!!

I can hardly believe that your time there is nearly done! I'm looking forward to reading some more of your blog when the kids are asleep...and hearing about your adventures.
Say "Hi" to your parents and Dan, Hannah and Reuben for me, OK! Please tell them that Bailie is settling in beautifully over here, and his appetite has picked up again - I think he was missing them a bit. He sends snuggles and big messy kisses and finger nibbles their way...several people have offered to take him home, but we've told them all we have first dibs :)
He has figured out that our cat is not like the ones he has at home, and the cat has learned that he can have a LOT of fun teasing a puppy who thinks cats should run away from dogs!
Wheeler (our pup) has been kept busy devising games that will wear Bailie out - prancing around with tail waving high, a toy dangling out of his mouth, and head turned slightly to ensure he stays about 15 inches ahead of Bailie. Up and down, up and down...Bailie now is thoroughly comfortable with stairs - tell your mom I say "I'm sorry"...cringing/grimacing...I think he isn't allowed upstairs at home!
We went to visit the patients at the hospital today - and Bailie was the star of the show! He loved snuggling up to all the people and kissing their hands (I'm sure the walk there didn't have anything to do with him feeling mellow!). They were ready to sign him up on the spot!
Hope your time there with family is wonderful, and your travels back are speedy!

Julie, just wanted to wish you a wonderful visit with your Mom and Dad and siblings. Hey Reuben, hope youliked the trip over! You are all in my prayers....Heather, totally jealous...have a cuppa for me! We'll have to do it together sometime! Have a great time! Talk to you when you get back.
