I love Christmas.... just thot i'd say that :) I love all the snow we have this year and the chance to enjoy it... i love the endless times of enjoying ppl's company... i love hanging out with friends and seeing long lost brothers and sisters (8/4 months is a long time) ... and i love giving gifts and seeing how ppl enjoy them all. Oh i almost forgot... i love rest... lots and lots of rest!
So as you can see my holidays have been quite restful and wonderful! I have loved every minute of them and i'm kinda disappointed that in less than a week i will be going back to school again... but i'm almost done so that is really exciting!
I wonder sometimes how other ppl view Christmas... i mean to most of the ppl i know, Christmas is a time to come together to celebrate Immanuel... God becoming man... making his dwelling among us and coming to save ppl like us from all the stuff we screw up just because he loved us for who we are... totally sweet. But what about those who don't know about this? What do they see in the holiday? A time of friends, to give gifts, to get off work, tradition... all great things... and i suppose if its given, why not celebrate it... but sometimes i wonder....
Anyway, hope this has made some sense :) Enjoy the holidays, celebrating Immanuel, when God came down to earth and lived among us!
