Yesterday I was sitting at my brothers graduation (which was amazing! I'm so proud of you Dan!!) and the valedectorian came to read his speech. It was a great speech but the thing I loved most was the quote he chose to base his speech around and I just wanted to share it with you... it has left me thinking :) Enjoy!
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Out deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our own light, not our darness that most frightens us. We ask outselves, who am I to be brilliant, gordeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God! Your playing small doesn't serve the world! There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us! And it's not just in some of us; its in everyone! And as we let out light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others!" - Nelson Mandela

Do you want to know something so cool? The first part of that quote is in the movie "Akeela and the Bee" (highly recommended by the way) It didn't go past who are you not to be...but how great to know where it came from! Thanks for sharing.
