Coming Back Again...

So i knew it was a long time since i've updated anything... but i didn't realize it has been over a month! I'm so bad at this :)
Well, El Salvador was amazing! Not only is the culture totally cool and new and tropical and exciting but we were able to interact with the people A LOT! Kids from the schools we visited would constantly come up to us to play hand games or just want to be with you (they don't see many gringos in the town we visited), people would stop what they were doing to wave to us in the street, people were surprised that we wanted to work and come there to see and visit with them, and so many other things it was great! We had so many opportunities just to build relationships and to visit with people that we really saw God move through them, even though we didn't know the language very well. So many experience, and so many stories... it was just an amazing time to sit back and see how God works... to see that when we get out of the way and let him do things through us, nothing is impossible and great things happen. it was just so wonderful!
After such a great experience it was hard to get back into the swing of things and a schedule of school. While all my friends said goodbye to their college campuses, i said hello to my university for one more year :)... time flies so fast, i cannot believe that 5 years ago i was a freshman in college... wierd and totally crazy :) So far the school year has been going well... busy of course and keeping me on my toes but good none the less. I'm learning how exciting the community at RUC is and that it's a great place to interact with a small section of the diverse body of Christ... I guess i just took the community for granted before but i'm so thankful for it this year... its a great place to be a part of :) Still I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving this weekend... family, no school, turkey, no school, church, no school, friends and oh.. no school :) Nah i'm just excited to have a break :) Blessing to you all on this wonderful and exciting weekend... hope you have as much fun as i will dodging schoolwork and chilling with friends and family.
