Hello everyone!
It's the first day of England and I love the country already! The people are great and the atmosphere is so inviting! anyway before i get a head of myself...
The flight was good but we hit a period of really really bad turbulence that was AWEFUL! Melissa and I was praying like crazy but it got better as we went :)
We landed at 6:30 am local time but 1:30 eastern time. Then we hung out in the airport for a while before our guest picked us up from the airport.
Charlbury is about an hour and a half from the airport and it was such a beautiful trip.... the grass looked greener and the sun came out!... also the towns and cities are so old and just gordious!!!! (I think i'm in my element:) )
We got to charbury and then went through orientation and then took a tour of the town. I'm so excited about calling this place home for the next three months. In the next hour we will meet our host family... Madeline (the coordinator) told me that I have an 85 yr. old lady for my billet and I am so excited!
