Today we had another whirlwind class day... it is going to be intense :)... but the highlight was meeting the students of Regents Park at lunch. They are awesome people and I'm excited to get involved in this community.
After class we went to the Sacclare (sorry i spelt that wrong) Library and then the Rad Cam... the arcitecture in the Rad Cam was amazing!!! Wow! Jenn VO, no wonder you couldn't describe it in words... its beautiful! Lynn, our academic advisor suggested we do our work in there and that's exactly where I will be... in the upper Rad Cam with my laptop and writing stuff.
Tonight we are going to someone's house for supper but after that its a lot of reading and deciding paper topics so that I can research them and get started on a thesis... with only four weeks to finish a course, everything is streamlined.
Hope all is going well with each one of you! Got to get down to work. Cherrio!

wikkert, your eyes and brain must be sore. don't forget to give them a break.
hey Julie! Sounds like you're having a great time! I can imagine most of the places and even a couple of the people you're talking about--it's so cool! I love Oxford : ) I'm jealous that you get to use the Bod and study in the Radcliffe Camera...way better than our stuffy computer lab! :D
Take lots of pictures!
The rad cam! Quelle joie! You are a much better blogger than I ever was. Any pictures coming though?
Also it's so cool that you history students have Peter as a teacher. He is an amazing man! Please ask about Tigger for me!
